♡ THE LIEBSTER AWARD ♡

Earlier on yesterday the lovely Alice of Intheeyeof-this informed me that she had very kindly tagged me for the Liebster Award! If you haven't done so already, please go and check out her blog.

The Rules Of The Liebster Award:
1. Link the blogger/bloggers that have nominated you.
2. Answer the 10 questions that have been created by the blogger who tagged you.
3. Keep the chain going by nominating 10 of your favourite bloggers with less than 200 followers and let them know.
4. Create 10 questions for your nominees to answer.

The Question's:

1. If you could be any Disney character, who would you be and why?

To be honest with you I haven't seen many Disney films as I always hated animation when I was younger, but I would choose Cinderella because she is so beautiful and finds her Prince Charming in the end which makes everything else worth it.

2. If you had to choose perfect hair or perfect skin, which would you choose?

I would choose perfect skin because I think a pretty face counts for a lot as people tend to look at your face first and judge you on first impressions.

3. Favourite movie?

Hmm I can't choose it would have to be either: The Devil Wears Prada/Spiceworld/The Lizzie McQuire Movie/Matilda/Annie/Daddy Day Care.

4. Where would be your ideal holiday?

I would love to go to New York purely so I could visit the Twin Towers Memorial. I have been obsessed with the devastating events for such a long time, it would be a dream of mine to finally be able to experience the beautiful place.

On the other hand I would also like to visit a tropical remote island with my family and just relax, I think that would be lovely.

5. If you could choose any career to be, which would you choose and why?

I would love to become a pilot but that does involve such a lot of training, however I'm very passionate about makeup and always have been,so I think I could possible try and become a makeup artist.

6. Favourite exotic animal?

My favourite exotic animal would probably be a tiger purely because they are so adorable when they are babies.

7. What is your favourite style of clothing?

My favourite style of clothing is kind of girly I suppose, but I change through out the year for example now its autumn/winter I'm wearing deep purple's and black where as in spring I would be wearing pastel pink and blue. I follow the trends basically.

8. Celebrity crush?

I feel like it's too cliché to say all the members of one direction but there you go.

9. What is your favourite country in the world and why?

My favourite country in the world is USA, specifically I love California. I've been a few times and everyone is just so friendly and polite I don't know how you wouldn't love it.

10. Describe yourself in one word.

Worry-er.

My Nominations:

1. alavish

2. thatgirlcalledlauren

3. Beth Daniels

4. pollyanneb

5. What Mollie Did

6. abbie rose

7. CoMichellex

8. Makeup and Magazines

9. Dainty and Ivory

10. just an extra

My Questions:

1. What is your all time favourite song?

2. If you could change one thing about your life right now what would it be?

3. What colour are your nails right now?

4. What is one thing you do every day without fail?

5. What was the last thing that you bought?

6. One thing you like about yourself?

7. Cats or Dogs?

8. What would be your dream first date?

9. What's your favourite season?

ASOS | Academy Ankle Boots

I've seen these boots from ASOS all over the blog scene, and after weeks of checking the site daily my size finally came back into stock long enough for me to order the beauty's. To my delight they came with in a couple days and are just as beautiful if not more so than i had imagined.

It's now time of year for me to revamp my wardrobe with dark, deep tones for Autumn/Winter and I think these boots are going to be a staple piece for me, especially as black will go with so much.

I'm surprised with how well made these are considering the price is so reasonable, and even though they seem so basic and monotone I feel like that is what brings everything together.

You'll have to ignore the background my room is currently undergoing complete renovation and after a long awaited trip to ikea it's coming together a lot more, not that you can tell by this shot where I still don't have any flooring.

Soap & Glory | Hand Food

Now Soap & Glory's Hand Food is definitely no spring chicken on the beauty scene, and to be quite honest I have never heard a bad word been said about it. But when recently I had been experiencing dry cracked hands that somewhat resembled and old ladies, I thought it was the perfect time to try out Hand Food, and that is exactly what i did.
Firstly as always Soap and Glory have got the packaging spot on,absolutely perfect, I couldn't possibly think of any improvements at all. I opted for the smaller tube of just 50ml as I think it would fit perfectly in my makeup bag and is easier to carry around than the larger one, although I'm not completely ruling out the 125ml when I repurchase in the future. It's really hard to actually find a good hand cream but this one is just faultless, the smell is absolutely lovely and indescribable,a warm mixture of marshmallows,Shea butter and macadamia oil all come together to form such a nice aroma. As much as I completely fell head over heals with the packaging and smell, the product itself is what really matters and I can safely say I wasn't disappointed with how well the thick creamy substance soaked into my skin not leaving a trace of oil whatsoever.
I would one hundred percent recommend this to you whatever you are looking for in a hand cream I can pretty much guarantee this will have it. I have already repurchased it seen as though I used it all up in the short space of like a week..I got addicted to the delicious smell mmmm.

Anyway at the price of £2.50 how can you resist?!
Get it here.

Lush | Party Popper Bath Ballistic

I have to admit that when it comes to Lush products in particular, it takes me a good while to actually get around to using them. They are just so pretty and divine smelling, I find them hard to part with. So it doesn't surprise me that only now in the run up to Christmas(AHHH), I have only just gotten around to using some of last years Christmas products that I had been hoarding for months.

I thought I would share some pictures of the lovely pink bath I achieved by using the Party Popper Bath Ballistic, because I enjoy a nice pamper night as much as the next girl,so why not?

Did you manage to get your hands on the Party Popper?

Maybelline Baby Lips

So the maybelline baby lips' have finally made their way from over the pond to the UK,and it seems that the wait was most definitely too long for most people,as the normal thing to do seems to be buying every single shade. However I settled upon just one for now,and as the stereotypical girl I am, I went for the pink one.

I have to say there has been a lot of strongly voiced opinions regarding the plastic packaging, but I for one can't get enough of the brightly coloured tubes. Personally I find them really sturdy and well-made as well as being eye catching and able to brighten up my makeup bag with no effort at all.

I had heard a lot about these 'moisturising lip balms with a hint of colour' and their adventurous claims of baby soft lips and a visibly renewed pout,so it goes without saying that I couldn't contain my excitement when I had the chance to get my hands on the lovely 'pink punch'. I have been very pleasantly surprised with the 8 hour staying power of not only the moisture my lips have been benefitting from, but also the buildable colour which doesn't budge, much to my glee.

I would definitely recommend you try out one or many of these moisturising lip balms especially at the competitive price of only £2.99. You get a surprisingly large amount of product for anybody's standards, but at this price with the fairly wide colour range these are all the more appealing.

You can find them at Boots and Superdrug.
(To my knowledge Boots is currently having a 3 for 2 offer.)
